Aligning to grid
A grid is a network of lines that extends across the page. The grid consists of visible and invisible lines.
By means of the grid objects can be aligned to one another. Its function becomes clear when you drag an object to a grid line. The object will be automatically aligned to the grid line or to a crossing of grid lines.
The alignment to the grid can be turned on or off. If you turn it off you can position the objects in any location.
Grid lines can also be made visible or invisible. Grid lines will be printed on paper.
Turning the alignment to the grid on and off
You can turn the alignment to the grid on and off via the main menu option Options and then Align to Grid .
Showing and hiding the grid
You can show and hide the grid with the main menu option Options and then Grid .
